FULL THREADED ROD , USE FOR ANCHORING A threaded rod, also known as a stud, is a relatively long rod that is threaded on both ends; the thread may extend along the complete length of the rod. [1] They are designed to be used in tension. [2] Threaded rod in bar stock form is often called all-thread.
Chemical or resin anchors are generic terms relating to steel studs, bolts and anchorages which are bonded into a substrate, usually masonry and concrete, using a resin based adhesive system. Ideally suited for high load applications, in virtually all cases the resulting bond is stronger than the base material itself and as the system is based on chemical adhesion, no load stress is imparted to the base material as with expansion type anchors and are therefore ideal for close to edge fixing, reduced center and group anchoring and use in concrete of unknown quality or low compressive strength.
Wedge anchors, also known as expansion bolts and expansion anchors, secure themselves using a mechanical wedging effect at the end of the fastener. As shown in the figure, tightening the bolt results in a wedge being driven up against a sleeve. This jams the end of the bolt, and provides the strength. Many different manufacturers provide a variation on this theme, usually depending on the condition of the concrete, and the type of load. If a mechanical anchor fails, it is usually in the form of pulling out a wedge of concrete, and for this reason, proper design looks at the depth of embedment, and assures that the bolts are not spaced too closely. In many parts of the world seismic anchors are another specialized subject.[4] A specialized form of the anchor bolt is the rock bolt, used in rock excavations. There are three basic styles of wedge anchors, fully threaded, partial threaded and the full-bodied wedge anchor.
Concrete Drop-In anchors are female concrete anchors designed for anchoring into concrete. Drop the anchor into the predrilled hole in the concrete. Using a setting tool expands the anchor within the hole in the concrete.
Concrete Sleeve Anchors' design allows them to anchor into concrete, brick and block. Sleeve anchors work by inserting them into a hole drilled into concrete. Turning the nut pulls the working end of the sleeve anchor up through the sleeve, expanding and anchoring itself securely in the concrete, brick or block.

Insert the anchor into a pre-drilled hole in concrete, and set the anchor by driving the nail into the anchor. The nail creates the expansion of the nylon nail-it anchor into concrete, brick or block. A wall plug (UK English)[1] or screw anchor (US English), commonly called a dowel in US English, is a fiber or plastic (originally wood) dowel used to enable the attachment of a screw in material that is porous or brittle or that would otherwise not support the weight of the object attached with the screw.[2][3] It is a type of fastener that for example allows screws to be fitted into masonry walls.
